Ben installed a new heater and air conditioner for us about 4 years ago. That experience was fantastic, with a great price, good explanations, and a strong attention to detail. The best part of it all though is that since he installed it, he continues to help when we run into any questions or ask him to run out to help us with other projects around our heating/cooling. You aren't just getting one great experience when you have a new install, you will continue to have someone ready and willing to help when you need.
We had our yearly service of our radiant heating system today. Nice system but requires a lot of maintenance. As I get older it is so comforting to have someone like Herlin Heating who is knowledgeable and doesn't try to make all his money from one customer. He does what needs to be done, charges a fair price and spends time getting to know his customers.
Ben has been great to work with. I'm the kind of customer who is technically oriented, so I asked a lot of questions about my options when Ben was helping me choose a replacement HVAC system. Then I asked more during the installation and afterwards. Ben patiently explained it all to me and gave me great service. I highly recommend Herlin Heating.
Dead AC!!! ……I called and spoke directly with Ben. He came quickly, diagnosed my issue, and completed the repairs needed. He even contacted me a few hours later to ensure everything was working to my satisfaction. A great experience.
Ben installed our furnace. He also maintains our heat pump. The heat pump is 39 years old. He keeps it going. Ben does excellent work and his pricing is fair. I highly recommend him. I won't use anyone else for our heating and cooling needs.
Ben is amazing! He recently saved us a ton of money when another company told us we needed an entire new control board. Ben quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it with a part that cost less than $200. He even stayed late and worked on our furnace past 9 p.m. to make sure we had heat that night. He also did a service inspection for a property we are in the process of buying and gave us an honest, straightforward assessment. If you want an HVAC contractor who is knowledgeable, hardworking, and trustworthy, I highly recommend using Herlin
Ben is very knowledgeable and has serviced our equipment over the past couple of years, and recently replaced our old failed geothermal unit with a heat pump. Highly recommend.
Ben installed my full heat pump unit and it worked beautifully. When I ran into a part malfunction I called him and got prompt service so I was not left fighting the heat. Thank you Herlin heating!

We have a boiler floor heating system in our house. Ben has been servicing it and is extremely knowledgeable about this less common type of heating system. Recently we had an issue with it resetting and turning off. Ben came immediately on a weekend to work on solving the problem. He was very patient and persistent and solved the issue which was elusive. We will continue to work with him and highly recommend him.
We had Mr. Herlin come fix our old electric furnace. He came the same day we called and fixed the problem. I referred Herlin Heating to a friend and they used him for there project and are very pleased. When we are ready to up grade and put a heat pump in he will be the one we call.

We have 9 rentals, so we have a lot of experience with Herlin Heating! Ben has done everything for us from simple service calls all the way up to installing a new furnace (one of which was in a crawl space, that was a fun one!!) He is efficient, has fair prices, and never tries to upsell. I can always count on him for honest, convenient service, and if there is something that "can wait" he never pressures us to replace it prematurely, but makes sure we are aware that it will likely need replacement in the near future and helps us get the most use out of our equipment. If you are a landlord who values convenience, Ben is your guy. And if you are a homeowner who values honesty, Ben is still your guy!!
